The Starting Point

How can the atmosphere of a jazz festival be captured in a single image?

 

Beyond promoting an event, the poster aims to convey its energy, rhythm and sense of place.

Concept

The illustration brings together architectural elements, plants and a saxophone player in a single composition. Rather than depicting a real performance, the poster creates a visual interpretation of jazz through colour, rhythm and simplified forms.
